Return of the Pirates of the Future
RESCUE MISSION: We are beaming you into Time Travel Ship C-3. Yes, the same one we use for testing our time travel trainees. The one we partially disguised into a pirate ship before sending them back to the pirate age. Well, something went sideways during that test and the ship ended up in a parallell universe. Pickle is, there is yet much we don’t know about spacetime calculations for parallell universes, so the best coordinate we were able to locate is the room next to the test space right before the incident. Our mathematicians are working around the clock now to ensure we don’t beam you into the floor or wall of that space. You are no aspirants, you are Senior Time Guardians of the Time Travel Initiative. We count on you to bring our people back safely – but be prepared for anything.

The Extremist
We're back in 1995 and the Finnish central intelligence is blindly chasing the rare chemical TRS-7 that disappeared last week from a Vaasa-based chemical research laboratory. Your team has received an anonymous tip and must act immediately without informing the headquarters. You find the exterior-wise completely ordinary looking house, but once you get past the unlocked door that slams shut behind you, you notice that everything is not the way it should be. It's no coincidence that you've been led here.

FAQ
Reservation and cancellation
You need to make a reservation via the online reservations system which normally closes 24 hours (24h) prior to each available time slot. The cancellation policy depends on when you placed your booking. If placed more than 24h prior to game start, cancellation must also be done no later than 24h prior, or a cancellation fee of 25eur will be charged. If you booked your game under 24h prior to start, the free of charge cancellation window is one (1) hour after placed booking. In practice, you can either use the cancellation link provided in the booking confirmation (works up until 24h prior to start) or by mail (info@makeitout.fi).
Special reservations
Want to make a reservation under 24 hours before it starts? Or you want to book both games simultaneously? Please drop us a mail and we will try to arrange this for you. On occasion we enable booking 1 hour ahead; if you see available time slots under 24 hours before start, you can book them.
How do I pay?
Currently, you may pay in cash, with the culture benefit app of ePassi or Smartum (not combinable with student discount) or in advance by bank transfer to account number: FI53 4958 0010 0758 48.
If the last option, remember to show your receipt at check-in. Companies can also pay by invoice.
Can I buy a gift certificate from you?
Yes. Either to a specific value or amount of persons. Since our opening hours as a rule of thumb coincide with bookings, we recommend checking regarding the pick-up. You can also order it by mail (please note that EUR 1,90 will be added to your invoice). Please ask for further details by mail.
We're a group of seven, are we allowed to enter the game?
A group may consist of a maximum of 6 people (Extremist) and 5 people (Pirates). Your options are 1) booking both games simultaneously, or 2) booking the same game at two consecutive time slots.
Is strength or agility needed?
Nope, the tasks you will face are accomplished by logical and creative thinking. If you are using violence, you are doing it wrong.
Do the rooms induce claustrophobia?
Nope, the rooms are monitored via camera and you can get out whenever you want. The door can be opened from both sides in case of emergency.
Makeitout what?
Makeitout is the registered trademark of RB Consult Ab Oy. The name describes the task well: your group is locked into a room and you have 60 minutes to make it out.
Anything particular I should bring?
Fully functional minds. Perhaps a detective's hat will assist you with putting your game face on.
Should I be afraid?
Though it might get scary, keep in mind there is nothing dangerous in here.
Will I need previous experience or any special skills?
Nope, everything you need to know is incorporated into the room.
